何不自由ない世界である楽園に到達することが出来たのに、それでも〝変化〟を求めて、楽園の外の世界を思い描いてしまう。絵の中の狼は、変化を求める自分の本心に気づいたところです。遠くの木に留まっている二羽の鳳凰が、その狼の心に気づいて見守っています。

Even after reaching paradise, a world of complete comfort and ease, the wolf still yearns for change and imagines the world outside of paradise. The wolf in the painting has just realized its true desire for change. Two phoenixes perched on a distant tree watch over the wolf, aware of its feelings.
