In the ancient skies as well

In Hokkaido, when you think of clay figurines, you think of hollow clay figurines. Because of their slightly upward-looking posture, I imagined them gazing at swans flying in the blue sky. I wonder if swans flew in Hokkaido during the Jomon period as well?
