「調和のかたち」

狼たちは、さまざまな状態や役割を担いながら、一つの群れとして共に生きています。その姿は人間の集団や社会とも重なり合います。

この作品の中の狼たちは、目の数が違い、また、目が開いていない個体もあります。見えているものが違う者同士が対等に話し合い、社会をより良い状態に保とうとする姿を、この作品では示しています。

背景には、日本で縁起の良い植物とされる松を描きました。作品の中で、松は狼たちを平等に覆い、群れを守っています。周囲に咲く菊は、古くから鎮静作用をもつとされ、この場面では集団における対話が熱を帯びすぎないように見守るお守りとして配しています。

The Shape of Harmony

The wolves, each bearing different conditions and roles, live together as one pack. Their way of life resonates with human communities and societies.

In this work, the wolves are depicted with differing numbers of eyes—some even with their eyes closed. It symbolizes individuals who see the world differently engaging in dialogue as equals, striving to keep their society in a better state.

In the background, pine trees are painted, an auspicious plant in Japan. Within the artwork, the pines spread equally over the wolves, sheltering and protecting the pack. Around them bloom chrysanthemums, which have long been believed to have calming effects. Here, they serve as charms, ensuring that discussions within the group do not become overheated.
